FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can I enter the Sanctuary for hiking or fishing?
A: No. Despite what may come up on Google, one can only walk around the outside of Korsman. No entry for recreational purposes and no fishing is allowed.
Q: Can I do a commercial/model/wedding/matric dance photo shoot inside Korsman?
A: No. Photographers are only allowed for genuine nature photography. We do not allow photographer access for non-environmental purposes. Join as a member for access for bird photography.
Q: Are you open on a Sunday/public holiday etc, and what is the entry fee?
A: The Sanctuary is not 'open' as it is fenced. The surrounding area is a free public area. Visitors walk around outside the fence on the verge.
Q: Can I have a bench to memorialise a loved one?
A: We are no longer erecting memorial benches due to many associated problems.. To memorialise a loved one, consider donating a smaller item in their memory such as a mosaiced item.
